Ceramics is a collection of handcrafted original ceramics from designer and
artisan Denise DeLong. Works range from decorative relief tiles and ornaments
to modern functional home accessories. Trained at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn,
NY, Denise’s aesthetic incorporates several unique styles, from “Urban Craft”
to “Mid-Century Modern”. The New York City Tiles and Ornaments celebrate today's
urban experience while paying homage to such architectural treasures as The
Brooklyn Bridge, Grand Central Terminal, and The New York Public Library. Reminiscent
of traditional Arts and Crafts, the Flora and Fauna Tile designs balance plants
and animals into original dynamic compositions. Embracing a timeless modern
elegance, the Ceramic Cleat Collection provides function in the home with a
nautical flare. Denise is currently working in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She is
inspired by the unique landscape of the city and the never ending energy of
its people.
